Winning Tips for Your Wedding Week

Your wedding week has finally arrived!  It’s time for that final sprint to the aisle.  Here a few tips to help you make it to the finish line flawlessly.   By now we hope you’ve been taking care of your skin and hair, scheduled your trial and are confident with every decision you’ve made for your wedding day look.

Now is a good time to remind you that THIS WEEK is NOT the week to do anything drastic or impulsive with your hair or skin.

Day 7

You’re going to need plenty of energy this week so now is a good time to add a little extra to your workout.  Not only will it help with some of that last minute toning, you’ll feel energized and the endorphins will help fight off those pre-wedding jitters.

Day 6

This is a great day to treat yourself to a facial, nothing to abrasive. This isn’t the time to gamble against the healing time your skin needs after invasive procedures like a chemical peel or laser treatments.

Day 5

Amp up your hydration!  No matter what your skin type is—oily, dry, normal or a combo— it craves water. Sure, drinking water helps, but snacking on naturally hydrating foods like watermelon works too. Other super foods for your face? Try grapefruit, cucumbers, tomatoes and kale.  Avoid excess alcohol and salty snacks!  Both add puffiness!

Day 4

This is the perfect day to take care of those brows (and any other waxing) you may want done allowing enough time for any redness or swelling to go down.  Don’t try anything new with your brows, stick to your usual shape and preferred maintenance method.

Day 3

Plan for some pampering and relaxation.  This is a great opportunity to spend some romantic time your love with a couples massage or maybe some quality time with your brides maids or Mom.  If you’re planning on a little extra glow for your wedding day this is the ideal day to schedule your tan.  Sunless tanning requires some drying time you’ll want at least two days to ensure it doesn’t stain your dress.

Day 2

It’s YOU TIME!  Mani, pedi, and a warm relaxing bath is the prescription for this day.  Plan to retire early on this evening and get a good nights rest.  You’ll wake-up refreshed, energized and ready for your day.

Day 1

It’s HERE!  You’re wedding day has finally arrived!  Be sure to eat a healthy and light breakfast, include fruits, grains and proteins, you may not get a chance to eat again until your reception and you’re going to need the energy.

Allow plenty of time to get ready we recommend 3-4 hours.  You don’t’ want to feel rushed or stressed and you’ll want to remember each and every moment with each and every person you spend time with in these hours.

Best wishes to you for a happy and blessed life…. we’re so happy to be a part of your day.
