While you’re soaking up the summer sun I’m hoping that you’re doing your best to stay protected from the rays of the sun because peeling is not cute on your wedding day and texture is something no Master Makeup Artist can hide.
Your first summer must is to extend your skincare
When it comes to thinking about skincare and your wedding day most brides tend to only think about their facial complexion so, today we’re going to extend our conversation and talk about two of the most neglected areas, the neckline and the décolleté.
If you’re not already including your neckline and your décolleté in your daily skin care routine this is the perfect opportunity to begin doing so. The neckline and décolletage skin is much finer than the skin on your face and contains significantly fewer sebaceous glands, (small oil-producing glands) that produce natural emollients (moisture) causing this are to dry out quickly, and make it more vulnerable to the suns harmful rays and other environmental factors. To protect this area take your moisturizing routine south and include your neck and décolleté. Opt for products with lightweight and nourishing formulas. Try to avoid the sun when possible by keeping this area covered when outdoors and remember to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.
