Megan from Makeup in the 702 here. Yay!! It’s officially Summer and it’s time to shed some clothes and soak up the sun and fresh air, but still keep your skin in tip top shape.
Our mantra…GOOD SKIN AND GOOD COLOR GO HAND IN HAND. Say it with me… OUT LOUD…good skin and good color go hand in hand. When you have your best skin forward the end result of makeup can be so much more. Let me explain.
Take a look at the wall next to you. See its texture? I can paint the wall aka your face, any color. Blue, purple, yellow- it doesn’t matter- the texture of the wall aka your face will still come through the makeup. In order for the “paint” to be smooth, we must change the texture of that wall… makes sense, yes?
So now, you are probably asking yourself how do I do that? Why can’t the makeup do that?
Well for starters makeup is not a miracle. No kidding you say. But skincare and good practices can make the difference immediately and over time truly change your programmed cells to become stronger, less hyper pigmented and of course get those smooth, if you will “sanded” surface. It’s never too late or too early to start and continue a consistent skin care routine. No matter the age, you can always improve your skin through the use of products.
