I was so excited when Makeup In The 702 was available to take on my last minute hair & makeup request for our elopement. The artists arrived on time and knew what they were doing with creating beautiful art as a team. Communication with Meg leading up to the day was great. She provided me with information regarding how to prep my skin and hair for the big day. I highly recommend Makeup In The 702!
Bride married on 12/24/2019 5.0 Amazing Hair and Makeup Planning a wedding from a different state isn’t always the easiest, but makeup 702 made the hair/makeup process the least of my worries! The owner, Meg, was attentive and flexible when making changes to timings and adding services and was so nice when answering all my questions. Katie (hair) and Stefi (makeup) were amazing to work with from start to finish and were really great to chat with during the two days of festivities (thanks for working on christmas eve!) My rehearsal dinner holiday look was on point and my wedding hair and makeup turned out beautifully for pictures that we will cherish forever. Stefi even rushed back to the hotel to fix a mini stafu that happened with my makeup an hour or so before the ceremony. Super thankful for her!

Planning your bridal look can be stressful and we get that… that is why we have developed a flawless cycle of communication to help you prepare for your day.  Most destination brides are not afforded the opportunity to schedule a trial date prior to their wedding day furthering the importance of booking with us well advance.  Doing so allows us plenty of time to talk about your vision and share your inspirations with your stylist and your makeup artist. Here are few things to consider when you’re while planning your wedding hair and makeup for your destination wedding (wherever it may be).

  1. Do your research and read reviews!

    2. Book your venue first and don’t be shy, ask your bridal concierge/consult for referrals.
Jessica Townsend married on 05/18/2019 5.0 Stress free perfection I used Megan and her team for my wedding in Las Vegas. I cannot fault my hair and makeup at all. I had a trial as I was nervous as I didn’t know what I wanted. Her team were so friendly and totally put me at ease and found my perfect look. When my big day came I knew I wouldn’t be let down and I sure wasn’t. I loved my look and my bridesmaids too. Thank you so very much for making my day so extra special. I am so thankful I went with with you !
    3. When possible book your beauty team 3-6 months in advance to make sure your team is available on your date.
Tammy Mejia married on 04/20/2019 5.0 Excellent!! From the moment I got in touch with Megan, she was fantastic and supportive. Not only was she quick to respond, she gave me the peace/reassurance I needed as a bride planning a wedding in a place I had never been to before. (Yes unbelievably I had never made it to Vegas before my wedding). Megan continued provided a guiding hand every step of the way and was very accommodating when I had to change the amount of people having makeup done at short notice. It goes without saying that the ladies that did our hair and makeup the day of my wedding exceeded expectations! Jeanette was our hairstylist and she was a literal gem. She made everyone feel so comfortable and truly worked her magic on all of our different hair types. Stefi was our makeup artist and she was an angel; asking for exactly what each of us wanted and making sure we were pleased with the makeup every step of the way. I would and will recommend Megan and her girls until the end of time to anyone getting married in Las Vegas!! Thank you so much for making me feel and look like a disney princess on the most important day of my life! xoxo, Tammy Sent on 05/02/2019
    4. Consider the season along with your hair and skin type.  For example brides with hair that tends to frizz in the humidity need to think ahead if they are planning their dream getaway for a beach or tropical location.   In a location like Las Vegas the winds can kick up with no notice, that’s why we guarantee your hair will hold in the desert wind (up to 40mph)!
    5. If you plan to arrive a day or two early to take in the sights and spend some time outdoors be sure to be use sunscreen and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated!

    6. Try to limit your indulgence and keep the alcohol to a minimum, you don’t want puffy eyes in your wedding photos.
    7. Above all your destination wedding should be a fun and romantic celebration….that being said the best destination beauty tip we have for you is to relax!  Stress and anxiety reeks havoc on your skin.

We do hope that you’ll be planning your destination in fabulous Las Vegas and that you’ll make Makeup In The 702 a part of your day.  We offer the convenience and flexibility of on-site service, creating a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere in an unfamiliar place leaving you radiant and photo ready for your day.
