Hello Megan! I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the outstanding job you did with my daughter's make-up. This was the first photo shoot for Dana and while you did a fabulous job with her make-up, you didn't lose touch with her age. She looked absolutely fabulous! Dana hopes this photo shoot is the just the beginning....... It will be a couple of weeks before we get the professional pictures back; however, I wanted to share a couple of my snapshots. Hope you like them as much as we do! Thanks again for the great, great job you did with Dana's make-up! Julie Christensen East meets West when Deepak delights his bride Sara and 660 guests with over a million dollars in celebrations, highlighted by his grand entrance on a fully decorated elephant. The lavish affair, held at the very exclusive and private Stirling Club, includes a full procession with a “human boombox” (a DJ riding along with plenty of speakers), dancers and 200 guests. But that’s just the beginning! The parade then moves onto the patio area, meeting up with the other 450 guests and a live singer from India. After the couple exchanges their vows on an altar in the middle of a swimming pool and witnessed by his 21 groomsmen and her 11 bridesmaids, they are announced as husband and wife, amid a fireworks and pyrotechnic fountain extravaganza. Then, the entire “entourage” moves to the magnificent Bellagio Hotel for a reception that includes aerialists, performers, a jazz band, more fireworks more fountains and a concert performance by the “Justin Timberlake of India.” Click here to see video

 

      

 

The Bright Side of the Dark Side

Goth looks that won't give you nightmares

Afraid of the Goth trend? Don't be. If it immediately brings images of Marilyn Manson groupies and the Bride of Frankenstein to mind, you've got the wrong idea.

"It was actually invented by a queen in mourning," says Lindsay Burns, a local personal stylist. "It can be very feminine for women."

Features like lace, velvet and ruffles -- all dominant with Goth -- all appeal to the girly girl. Victorian staples like puffed sleeves and corseted waists also get a nice nod. And, while black may be the cornerstone color of this trend, moody shades like deep plum, forest green and merlot are all welcome, too.

If that doesn't warm you up to the dark look, perhaps the embellishments will. The crosses, hearts and skulls so popular with of-the-moment jewelers such as Queen Baby and Chrome Hearts rule this style.
